Stampoulis, Miltiadis

Dr. Miltiadis Stampoulis is an Associate Professor at the Department of Educational and Social Policy of the University of Macedonia with cognitive objective the "Labor Economics and Training Policies".

His scientific interests entail the study of the relationship between education - employment, the impact of employment policies on the operation of labor markets, the impact of new technologies on the economy and on the skills of human resources, the comparative analysis of vocational education and training systems, etc. He is a graduate of the Department of Economics of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds a Master (DEA) and a PhD in Human Resources Economics Paris I - Pantheon - Sorbonne. His doctoral dissertation deals with the issues of flexibility in the organization of production and work in the enterprises of the Industrial Area of Thessaloniki.

He also is a researcher and evaluator in the fields of employment and training policies, skills development, organization of work and labor relations, gender and age approach to the operation of labor markets in collaboration with competent actors in planning and supervision of relevant projects, while he has many years of experience in the design and implementation of European Programs and NSRF Projects.

He has been a member of the Committee of Experts of the National Council for Competitiveness and Development, as well as a member of the Scientific Committee of the Research Centre of the General Secretariat for Gender Equality. He is a member of the Economic Chamber of Greece, the European Association of Labor Economists, the Society for Labor and Social Security Law, as well as the Scientific Association of Adult Education.
